Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Order administration & Customer service (70%)
Provide effective proactive, and responsive on-site management for a wide variety of Logistics activities including Ordering, Shipping, Transportation and Compliance.
— Receive POs and place POs on appointed Suppliers, follow up on deliveries and report back order confirmations and shipping information to overseas internal customers and external customers.
— Work with Sourcing team and Quality team to improve OTIF delivery performance.
— Train the vendors on logistics tools and requirements
— Ensure material data accuracy in SAP system.
— Provide good customer service for internal & external customers. Support global planning team to do inventory control.
— Work with teams to process NCM.
— Work with Finance team to ensure correct data and tax refund.
Logistics Compliance & Cost Saving (20%)
— Be updated with the regulations related to trading, logistics and forwarding as well as logistics compliance.
— Actively work for reduced logistics costs such as fill rate improvement, packaging material, transportation costs, goods handling costs etc.
Leadership & Support (10%)
— Align individual performance objectives (IPOs) with department goals
— Provide guidance / knowledge for non-logistics staff and competent level of Planning & Logistics knowledge and practice.
Communication and Documentation
— Track supplier performance
— Provide weekly & monthly report
— Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents
Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor degree in a supply chain field required
3-5 years of experience within Planning & Logistics, relevant education within the area of international trading is preferred.
Experience from working in an international environment.
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to fully work with all parts of MS Office
Experience from a modern ERP-system, SAP is preferred.
