1. Bachelor degree, major in Industrial Engineering or related field.
2. Over 5 years engineering working experience.
3. Good presentation skills. Good English communication skills.
4. Familiar with Quality Systems as of QS9000, ISO14000, TS16949.
5. Good at Auto CAD, other 3D software will be plus.
6. Good at Microsoft Office and project management.
7. Strong personality and Pressure management skill.
8. Good self-learning and self-management capability.
Essential Job Responsibilities
1.New Program Quote: Participate in new and engineering level quotations to gather information to support the lowest cost of manufacturing a product. Work with ME develop draft assembly plan for complicated program as required.
2.New Program Support:
Be involved in new program launch process in every gate. Play role as coordinator to work out material and information flow diagram. This is including definition of linkage between all processes, Mold to Plate to Assembly. Etc.
Drive strategy of production way to create lower cost / high efficiency manufacturing system.
Work with Package engineer to design reasonable WIP package, to provide protection for cosmetic pats. And also work out WIP quantity base on system design, to guide investment plan.
Build up assembly cell with reasonable parts presentation which considers least motion, and other non-value added thing.
Motion study to evaluate cycle time for new program is required. Work balance and develop Standardize work, work instruction are required.
Develop layout plan for new program. Ergonomics and Safety should be taken into consideration.
Work with ME to develop lean equipment which to support Standardize work.
Be involved in PFMEA, control plan review.
Be involved in trial run to check production system design.
Be participant of CDR review, valuable input of component design for manufacturing. Design-in-error proof.
3.Daily Production Support:
Time study and standard time definition;
Layout planning, coordinator for re-location;
Develop or updated work instruction, standardize work;
Train operation people before work instruction release;
Be involved in solve abnormal issue for production;
Work with ME to improve efficiency;
4.Keep doing analysis on current production to find out where is the kaizen point. Eliminate COMMWIP is always object of normal work content. Facilitate cross function team to working on continuous improvement program. (Productivity improve; team work on scrap reduce driven; drive on efficiency; pull system application; SMED project driven, Experience on Mold machine quick change will be plus.)
5.Other duties may be required based upon business needs.
